The National Consumer Advisory Board surveyed more than 500 individuals experiencing homelessness in five cities across the U.S., asking about experiences of violence while homeless. Results of this survey, including health practice and policy recommendations, were presented at a workshop during the 2011 National HCH Conference & Policy Symposium and a report will be published on the Council website in the coming months. Molly Meinbresse, National HCH Council Program & Research Specialist, and Amy Grassette, NCAB Chair, will present survey results this October during the American Public Health Association 139th Annual Meeting and Exposition.
