Special Campaigns

Annual Appeal: Family Health Center of Worcester conducts one Annual Appeal during the holidays to raise funds for health services for low-income, underinsured individuals.

Emergency Appeal: From time to time when an emergency need arises, we may send a special appeal to our supporters to ask for their help.  In 2009, we appealed to our supporters for help to purchase additional medical refrigeration units to store the H1N1 vaccine during flu season.  With your generous support, we were able to purchase three large monitored units to safely store vaccine on site at our main facility.

Friend-Raiser Event: Family Health Center hosts one annual friend-raiser which has become a Worcester tradition, Art in the City.  Your support through the purchase of tickets, artwork, and auction items directly supports health services for our most vulnerable patients.

Bequests: Please consider a special gift to help sustain Family Health Center of Worcester's services to the community in the future.  Bequests are gifts made through a will that may support the entire health center or one of our programs.  Please consult your attorney or estate planner to discuss your wishes.

Capital Campaigns: Family Health Center of Worcester coordinates capital campaigns as significant needs emerge to upgrade the facility, replace very expensive equipment, or improve access to services.  In 2010 with the support of numerous local family foundations, community foundations, and federal, state and local grants, Family Health Center completed a $3.5 million campaign to implement electronic health records throughout our service locations and assure the quality and continuity of care for our patients between our center and local hospital systems.

Thank you for your generous support of our health center.  All donations directly support the health and well-being of our entire community.  For more information, please contact the Development Office at 508-860-7951.
